A ceramic coating is a chemical polymer solution that is applied to painted surfaces, plastics and glass to protect it from external paint damage. Typically applied by hand, it blends with the paint of your bike and creates an additional hydrophobic layer of protection.
Essentially a hard shell, a ceramic coating will prevent water stains, road grime, bird droppings, and other substances from reaching and harming the paint.
Our process also includes the cleaning and treatment of hard and soft metals such as aluminium and stainless steel. Although called stainless steel, it definitely will still stain and possibly rust. Corrosion can also buildup on stainless steel over time changing its colour to a yellow or dark brown.
Our process includes cleaning these metals as close as possible to their original form and then protecting them with specialist chemicals for future use.
A critical component of detailing includes the process of paint correction. Over time, swirl marks become visible on painted surfaces from incorrect washing and normal daily use. Paint also becomes dull as it accumulates a thin film of corrosion and grime over it.
Paint correction is the process of completely decontaminating the paint of all its contaminants and then doing a three stage polish to bring back its original shine.
It is a tedious process that requires professional equipment and polish compounds.
