Yes - Cardo can connect with certain Insta360 action cameras, but it’s not the same as pairing it to another helmet comm-unit for intercom chats. It’s mainly useful for recording your voice (and in some cases group audio) and doing voice control on the camera rather than full feature intercom behavior.
Many newer Insta360 cameras support Bluetooth headset pairing, and Cardo headsets are specifically listed as compatible:
Insta360 Ace Pro
Insta360 Ace Pro 2
Insta360 X4
Some support on X5 and other recent models too.
This means the camera can pair with a Cardo headset over Bluetooth so it can use the headset as a microphone input for audio recording and possibly voice commands.
Bluetooth pairing between the Insta360 camera and Cardo
Record voice/audio from your Cardo mic into your footage
Use voice control (on supported camera models)
It’s not a full motorcycle intercom link - it’s a camera Bluetooth connection, not a Cardo-to-Cardo intercom link (that you’d use for rider-to-rider comms)
When the camera is connected to your Cardo, you can’t usually listen to phone music at the same time on the Cardo (camera takes over the Bluetooth link).
Some users report audio issues (skipping or uneven recording) depending on headset model and camera firmware.
Compatibility may vary by Cardo model; the manufacturer’s list specifically mentions models like Packtalk Edge (and others depending on camera).
